Guests enjoy stripped-down performances of original songs paired with the raw stories that inspired them. From creative sparks to behind-the-scenes insights, you’ll experience authentic artistry up close and personal. Created to elevate the live music scene in Clarksville, this exclusive series takes place overlooking the city at Shelby’s Trio.

Micah Carpenter is a jack of all trades songwriter, producer, and musician. He’s most known for his work with Megan Moroney, including: “You Had To Be There (feat. Kenny Chesney),” “I’m Not Pretty,” “Hair Salon,” “Indifferent,” “28th of June,” “The Girls,” & more. He has cuts with Kenny Chesney, Ed Sheeran, Kacey Musgraves, Cole Swindell, Walker Hayes, Tyler Braden, Mackenzie Carpenter, & moreKyle Sturrock is a Nashville-based songwriter from Stamford, Connecticut. He signed his first publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Group in 2022, and co-wrote Blake Shelton’s #1 song “Texas”, which had the biggest radio add day of Shelton’s career and was nominated for CMA Song of the Year. He is also a co-writer on Zach John King’s debut radio single “Get To Drinkin’”, which is currently climbing the charts. He has also had songs recorded by Kenny Chesney, Bentley, Chris Young, Jon Pardi, Dasha, Ashley Cooke, Tyler Braden and more.

When you join us for Songwriters on Skyline, we want you to be able to fully relax and enjoy the stories behind some of your favorite songs. This means our team is here for you with a chef-crafted menu that is perfect for getting food & drinks to you quickly, just in time for the performance.
Stress-Free Parking & Accessibility
Forget the usual downtown parking scramble. We proudly provide over 100 complimentary parking spots for our guests. You can find dedicated handicap parking directly in front of the restaurant, with a large private lot situated immediately behind our building that also has handicap parking. If that fills up during peak arena nights, an additional expansive lot is available at the corner of 2nd Street and College Street. Our entire three-story venue is fully accessible via a central elevator, ensuring all guests can reach the rooftop with ease.
If there is an event on the same day at F&M Bank Arena next door, our front parking lot at the corner of 2nd St & College St is monitored by Metropolis at a rate of $20. Parking is always complimentary for our guests so be sure to ask your server or visit our host stand to validate parking on those nights.
